SourceDresser is a utility program for changing the default font, size and tab settings for THINK C (and presumably Symantec C++) source files.
Why use SourceDresser?
Just ‘cuz! Let’s say you inherit a project and the previous programmer used some really weird font, in a really small size and had tab stops every 20 spaces. Grrrrrrrrrrr! You can’t work with code that looks like that! It’s got to be Monaco 9 with tabs every 4 space or you’ll just die! With Symantec C/C++ 6.0 or THINK products, you would spend all day changing each file by hand! No Way!
Way! Enter SourceDresser. Just set up your desired formatting, and select the file or folder to apply it to. You can even have it traverse sub folders within a folder and change all the THINK/Symantec files that it locates.
How to Use
Go to the Edit menu and select “Settings”. Set up your desired formatting and click OK. Next, select “Dress” from the File menu. If your just doing a single file, locate it and click Open. That’s all! If you are doing a folder, locate it and click the button at the top. If you want SourceDresser to "dress" all files at or below a certain folder then click “Traverse Sub-Folders” and then click the button at the top. You may also access the “Settings” dialog from here. Just click “Settings” and you can re-define your font, size, and tab settings.
What’s the Deal?
No Deal. It’s free! I’ll keep the “rights” and prohibit commercial distribution, but other than that, it’s yours. As with all New England Software Works products, I welcome your input. Comments or suggestions are welcome, although I reserve the right to ignore them. If you think you got a bug, please let me know right away, though. The address is on the annoying flash screen, but I’ll give it to you again:
